Hurricane Dolly is headed straight for Chris Daniel's home.

When Dolly hit, Chris and his son, Cade, boarded up the house and hunkered down to ride the storm out.
The rest of the family was out of town. Click on the play button below and listen to the phone conversation Charlie had with Chris the day after. Because of the hurricane, we had a bad connection but that just added to the drama. We lost the connection but we re-established it in a few seconds.

Chris tells me that they survived just fine with some water damage in the house from flooding, but he assures us that he will be ready for the next show. What a trooper! We love you Chris, and we are happy that you are all right...

We recorded this show the day before Hurricane Dolly hit South Padre Island. Chris Daniel was sitting on the beach on the phone with us while watching his son kite surfing. We don't have any pictures of him, so here is what it must have looked like...
